The integrated approach from the “Social inclusion and improvement of the living conditions of Roma and other vulnerable groups in the counties of Mures, Cluj, Bihor, Alba, Covasna, Salaj and Harghita” project, the achieved results and the identified good practices were promoted within meetings with representatives of the Ministry of National Education and of the European Commission.
On Thursday, the 19th of April 2018, the three consortia funded under the Swiss-Romanian Cooperation Program promoted the integrated approach of their After-school program. The meeting was a first step in the advocacy campaign for increasing the access of children from vulnerable groups to education.
On Tuesday, the 24th of April 2018, the good practices identified in the Social inclusion project were presented during the debate on the state of implementation of the National Strategy for Roma Integration, organized on the occasion of an extended visit of the European Commission to Romania.
