Cross-Border Dialogue for Social Innovation and Sustainable Cooperation

On June 19, we had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation of 11 representatives from local public authorities and civil society organizations from the Ungheni district, Republic of Moldova, to the HEKS/EPER Romania office in Cluj-Napoca. The delegation included representatives of the Asociaţia Obştească Inovaţii Sociale, Asociatia Obsteasca Asociatia de Educatie Civica “Viitorul Incepe Azi”, and Asociația obștească „Adăpost şi Alinare”.

The visit took place within the project “INSPIRA Moldova: Innovation and Sustainable Cooperation between CSOs and Local Public Authorities through European Best Practices,” funded by the European Union.

We engaged in an open and meaningful dialogue, sharing experiences and best practices from the projects we implement, as well as from initiatives developed by our partners. Discussions focused on areas of common interest such as education—particularly vocational and technical education—social inclusion, the integration of young people from vulnerable backgrounds into the labor market, community development, health, and public safety.

The meeting was highly constructive and inspiring, highlighting the importance of cooperation and knowledge exchange in developing sustainable solutions for our communities. We hope this visit marks the beginning of future collaborations with a positive impact on vulnerable communities on both sides of the Prut River.
