Sharing Experiences and Building Connections for Future Cooperation 

Today, August 26, we were pleased to welcome representatives of the Union of Women Associations of Heraklion Prefecture (UWAH), Greece, to the HEKS/EPER Romania office in Cluj-Napoca. 

We were joined by Nikolaos Spetsidis, representing UWAH, and Crina Moisa, representing the Social Assistance Directorate, as part of the INTERACT project, a European initiative focused on developing more effective and coordinated support systems for women experiencing homelessness or living in precarious housing conditions. 

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to learn more about UWAH’s work and experience in supporting women and vulnerable groups, while also sharing insights and experiences from the projects and initiatives implemented by HEKS/EPER Romania. 

We discussed areas of common interest, approaches to supporting people in vulnerable situations, and the role of cooperation between civil society organizations and public institutions in addressing social challenges and developing sustainable solutions. 

We were glad to exchange experiences, perspectives and ideas, while exploring opportunities for future collaboration and continued learning.
