HEKS/EPER Romania Joins the Romanian Dual Education Alliance

HEKS/EPER Romania is pleased to announce that its membership in the Romanian Dual Education Alliance was officially approved during the Alliance’s Founding Members’ Meeting held on 10 September 2026.

The Alliance for Dual Education Romania, a national platform for structured dialogue and cooperation aimed at supporting the coherent development of dual education in a way that serves the interests of students, was launched on 29 April 2026 at the initiative of the Swiss-Romanian Chamber of Commerce.

The Alliance was created through the joint efforts of a diverse group of founding members, highlighting the fact that the future of dual education depends on collaboration between the education sector, the business community, public institutions and civil society. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to building an education system closely aligned with the needs of the real economy, thereby contributing to the development of a skilled workforce, increased competitiveness and Romania’s attractiveness for long-term investment.

HEKS/EPER Romania shares this vision. At national level, most of our projects focus on education and employment. We hope that, through the expertise we have accumulated over the past six years in projects dedicated to education, career guidance and young people’s transition into the labour market, we can contribute to the initiatives of the Alliance.

We aim to bring to the Alliance the data and lessons learned from our career counselling and guidance activities, as well as the information we have collected on the barriers that hinder the transition from lower secondary education to technological education and, subsequently, to a young person’s first job.
