  • 450 children from the project “Through education to vocation!” I celebrate the Moon for life

    In the first week of March, (March 1-8) the children from the project that takes place in schools /day centers for children: “Mihai Eminescu” Ighiu with structures Șard and Țelna, “Ioan de Hunedoara” Sântimbru Sat and Sântimbru Fabrică, „Florin Fleșeriu” High School with Sports Program Sebeș, „Singidava” Cugir, „Demetriu Radu” Rădești, Berghin Gymnasium School, School with grades I-VIII Miraslău, „Axente Sever” Aiud, Children’s Day Center „Cuvioasa Parascheva” Alba Iulia and the “St. Nicholas” Day Educational Center Alba Iulia, together with teachers, educators and volunteers carried out activities that encouraged them to express their love and gratitude creatively, through words, graphics and color.

    The children carried out group activities in order to become aware of the things that are really important in life, by promoting values ​​such as: family, moral integrity and mutual respect. “Line of life”, one of the most representative of the activity, through which the children mentioned the most significant moments in their lives. At the end of the activity, everyone shared with whom they live, who they feel closest to and how they see themselves as future parents.

    At the same time, on the occasion of March 8, all the children made, within each school and each center, congratulations dedicated to their mother with the message “Mother, thank you for giving birth to me!”. They expressed their feelings on paper through small texts addressed to their mother, but also through specific colorful drawings. Throughout the activities, the children wore T-shirts with the message “Happy Birthday, Mommy!”. During the month of March, all the children in the project participate in activities dedicated to life.

    The project “Education by vocation” is implemented by the Association “Orthodox Philanthropy Alba Iullia” in partnership with HEKS/EPER Romania Foundation, FAER Reghin Foundation and NEWschool Norway, within a funding through Norwegian Grants under the Local Development Program. The objective of the project is to increase the degree of social inclusion and maintain in the education system 645 students in risk situations in the Central and North-West regions by creating activities such as “School after school”. Program operator being the Romanian Social Development Fund.
