    Representatives from the following institutions participated in this event:

    • Diakonia St. Gheorghe Christian Foundation
    • Orthodox Philanthropy Association Alba Iulia
    • Orthodox Philanthropy Association Sibiu
    • Open Fields Foundation
    • HEKS/EPER Romania Foundation

    Over the course of two days, various topics of interest were addressed, including:

    • Challenges and best practices in communication with target groups (students, teachers, parents, companies);
    • Aspects such as absenteeism, school dropout, student motivation, the relationship between children and parents, recognition of ethnic belonging, the role of social networks, adaptation to the requirements of the new generation, and concrete advantages for Roma individuals in their educational journey and labour market insertion, PSEAH;
    • Steps/stages of the information, counselling, and mediation process. Topics covered in counselling with students from target groups (e.g., personality tests, labour market integration, financial education, job description, and contract details, etc.). Motivating young people for labour market insertion. Effective practices in mediation and employment. Relationship with companies;
    • The sustainability of activities in our projects.

    We agreed that such events are extremely valuable and beneficial, providing an opportunity to pause and learn collectively. The event facilitated not only the sharing of best practices but also discussions about current challenges and the identification of new solutions. Through collaboration, teams had the opportunity to transfer skills and expertise, and the relationships formed will continue to bring benefits to future initiatives.
