The housing component uses the dweller driven approach, according to which dwellers are themselves responsible for their house improvement. Thus, the project provides mainly technical assistance and construction material, while the Roma do the construction work.
Since the 2015 pilot phase, over 80 families substantially improved their housing conditions, by constructing new houses, rooms and/or functional bathrooms. The project is also advocating at municipality level for better access to public infrastructure (current water, canalization, electricity).
