Job fair organized within the project “Labour market inclusion for disadvantaged young adults in Romania”

On August 8, 2023, within the project “Inclusion in the labour market for disadvantaged young adults in Romania”, a job fair organized by Diakonia Christian Foundation in collaboration with AJOFM took place in Sfântu Gheorghe, Covasna county.

This event was mainly addressed to graduates of the 2022-2023 class of professional schools, but the event was also open to other young people looking for a job.

Eight companies participated in the event, offering a total of 47 jobs in the following fields: trade, clothing, car construction, building construction.

The young people present at the event discussed details on the vacancies with employers and were helped by the project team to fill in their CVs on the spot to apply for the chosen jobs.

The project team of Diakonia Sf. Gheorghe Christian Foundation discussed with the representatives of the companies participating in the event about their needs, establishing that they will remain in contact for possible current mediations and future collaborations.
