Within the project “Through education towards vocation!”, Following the Training Course in the field of inclusive and vocational education, attended by 18 representatives from the Alba Iulia Orthodox Philanthropy Association, HEKS / EPER Romania Foundation and FAER Reghin Foundation, respectively, directors school, teachers, school counselors and psychologists, an online brochure has been developed and launched in Romanian and English on the websites: www.filantropia.ortodoxa.ro, www.faer.ro, www.heks-eper.ro. The brochure includes concepts acquired in the training course on inclusive education and vocational education with NEWSCHOOL – Norway, within the project “THROUGH VOCATIONAL EDUCATION!”, Funded by the EEA Grants 2014-2021.
The presented methods aim at transforming the teacher into a true agent of change, able to lead a process of self-learning towards others and motivated to increase in terms of quality both the teaching act and the formative-educational approaches. To increase the quality of education in schools, the materials presented in the brochure are a collection of tools that aim to improve learning techniques through differentiated, vocational, active-participatory – student-centered instruction, facilitating an integrated teaching that goes beyond the assimilation of knowledge and facilitate developing specific skills.
The project “Education by vocation” is implemented by the Association “Orthodox Philanthropy Alba Iullia” in partnership with HEKS/EPER Romania Foundation, FAER Reghin Foundation and NEWschool Norway, within a funding through Norwegian Grants under the Local Development Program. The objective of the project is to increase the degree of social inclusion and maintain in the education system 645 students in risk situations in the Central and North-West regions by creating activities such as “School after school”. Program operator being the Romanian Social Development Fund.
