HEKS/EPER Foundation is excited to announce a new opportunity for financing Ukrainian groups in Arad, Baia Mare, Cluj and Suceava, who want to help their communities thrive in the current context.
With funding from Christian Aid, between May and July 2023, we will run a sclr (Support for survivor and community-led response) programme, which involves transferring power from organizations to the affected communities. Specifically, unlike other forms of humanitarian support, through sclr, you, as a crisis survivor, could have your problem-solving ideas funded and would be responsible for all the stages of a project: problem identification, project writing, money management, and implementation.
The first round of this programme was held in Cluj, where a total of 9 initiatives were selected to be funded to implement handcraft projects, music classes for children, 3D printing classes, support for cancer patients, etc.

Title of the programme: sclr initiatives for the Ukrainian communities in Arad, Baia Mare, Cluj and Suceava
Programming period: May 2023 – July 2023.
The maximum amount of grant allocation: 15.000 RON.
We aim to support the initiatives of crisis-affected Ukrainians in Arad, Baia Mare, Cluj and Suceava, who are already trying to help their communities build resilience in the current situation.
Eligible: We will receive applications from groups or individuals who are involved or part of the Ukrainian communities, living in the city where they want to implement the project for at least 3 months.
Not eligible: We cannot fund proposals from self-help groups that use resources only to support themselves and their own recovery, nor do we fund NGOs for their exclusive projects. The whole aim of sclr is to support a wider community.
The core approach promotes the following eligibility criteria:
We will finance projects that contribute to community well-being and strengthen social cohesion or support the most vulnerable who cannot help themselves. It all depends on the opportunities identified by local groups as being most relevant to strengthen their community’s survival, recovery and future resilience.
Projects can involve the following sectors: health, psychosocial support, education, basic survival, etc.
We finance any costs related to the sectors above. However, we do not finance salaries. For further information on eligible costs, please contact us.
We will score project initiatives one by one, based on their compatibility with the following criteria:

The selection will be made based on the aforementioned criteria by a dedicated committee and the results will be shared publicly on the 10th of May.
Selected initiatives should be implemented no later than the 31st of July.

Фундація HEKS/EPER рада повідомити про нову можливість фінансування українських груп в Араді, Бая-Маре, Клужі та Сучаві, які хочуть допомогти своїм громадам краще вижити в нинішніх умовах.
За фінансової підтримки Christian Aid, протягом березня-липня 2023 року ми реалізовуватимемо програму sclr (Support for survivors and community-led responses), яка передбачає передачу повноважень від організацій до громади. Зокрема, на відміну від інших форм підтримки постраждалого населення, в рамках sclr ви самі, як постраждавша особа, будете відповідати, будете відповідати за всі етапи проєкту: визначення проблеми, написання проєкту, управління коштами та його реалізацію.
Перший раунд цієї програми відбувся в Клужі, де було відібрано 9 ініціатив, які отримають фінансування для реалізації ремісничих проектів, музичних занять для дітей, занять з 3D-друку, підтримки онкохворих і т.д.

Наша мета – підтримати ініціативи постраждалих від кризи українців в Араді, Бая-Маре, Клужі та Сучаві, які вже зараз намагаються допомогти своїм громадам протистояти поточній ситуації.
Хто має право на участь: Ми прийматимемо заявки від груп або окремих осіб, які залучені або є частиною українських громад, проживають у місті, де вони хочуть реалізувати проект, щонайменше 3 місяці.
Неприйнятні: Ми не можемо фінансувати заявки від груп самодопомоги, які використовують ресурси лише для підтримки себе та власного відновлення, а також не фінансуємо НУО для їхніх ексклюзивних проектів. Метою sclr є підтримка ширшої спільноти.
Основний підхід передбачає наступні критерії прийнятності:
Ми фінансуватимемо проекти, які сприятимуть добробуту громади та зміцненню соціальної згуртованості або підтримуватимуть найбільш вразливі верстви населення, які не в змозі допомогти собі самі. Все залежить від можливостей, визначених місцевими групами як найбільш актуальні для зміцнення виживання, відновлення та майбутньої стійкості власної громади.
Проекти можуть охоплювати такі сектори: охорона здоров’я, психосоціальна підтримка, освіта, базове виживання тощо.
Ми фінансуємо будь-які витрати, пов’язані з вищезгаданими секторами. Однак ми не фінансуємо заробітну плату. Для отримання додаткової інформації про прийнятні витрати, будь ласка, зв’яжіться з нами.
