Integrated social services for the communities from the Ţara Năsăudului LAG
Between May 2021 and February 2024, HEKS / EPER Romania Foundation together with Țara Năsăud Local Action Group Association and Civitas Foundation for Civil Society Cluj-Napoca are implementing the project Integrated Social Services for the communities in Țara Năsăudului LAG.

The main objective of the project is to promote integrated measures addressed to 250 people from the communities that are part of the Nasaud County LAG, to reduce the number of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion.
Specific objectives of the project:
1. Ensuring professional integration, maintaining the labor market and increasing employment opportunities for 125 people (including 63 skilled people and creating 42 jobs) in the 13 LAG communities by carrying out tailor-made measures in accordance with specific to individuals: information, counseling and professional mediation to facilitate finding a job, training courses, consultancy for setting up a business (10 businesses), training and mentoring in entrepreneurship, as well as providing de minimis aid for the actual establishment of a business, to facilitate social and professional inclusion and reduce the number of people in the target group at risk of poverty.
2. Facilitating social integration at the level of members of marginalized communities through the services provided by the Day Center in Mocod, Nimigea commune, as a central point of social intervention through which at least 250 people from the 13 communities will benefit from social services (counseling, general information, socialization and free time to avoid loneliness and ensure an adequate level of independence, as well as material support-packages with hygienic-sanitary materials and other goods necessary for the household), by setting up a mobile team (4 social workers) to provide services at home, especially the elderly (125 elderly people out of the 250 people in the target group).
3. Increasing the quality of life and social capital at the level of members of marginalized communities through appropriate support actions: measures to improve living conditions (sanitation of 100 homes) and activities to combat discrimination and promote multiculturalism to increase social inclusion.
The target group of the project includes 250 people (125 young people or adults and 125 elderly people) from the territory of LAG Nasaud County (13 communities) at risk of poverty and social exclusion.
The total budget of the project: 4,639,106.64 lei
