Second backstopping mission of PROCEED project – „ Promoting citizen engagement for economic development” – April 21-30 2017, Georgia
Between the 21st and 30th of April 2017, Mr. Iuliu Zsejki, Executive Director of the Local Action Group (LAG) Tara Nasaudului, as a facilitator for the PROCEED project, had a second backstopping mission in Georgia. The backstopping missions’ goal is to strengthen HEKS/EPER Georgia and ELKANA’s capacity for LEADER approach, by providing consultancy throughout the entire process of establishing, nurturing and maturing a successful LAG.
During this mission, the facilitator visited Dedoplistskaro municipality and attended a meeting with the Initiative Group for the establishment of the LAG. The exchange of experience focused on the following aspects: the tasks of a LAG, the experience of the Romanian LAGs with their initial, before-establishment stages and the elaboration of the Local Development Strategy.
