The Dance of Joy – 1st of June 2017, Alba-Iulia
Around 1500 children staged the largest synchronous dance in Romania on the 1st of June, then created a flag and a big tricolor heart. The children from the social settlements and the educational centers coordinated by the Orthodox Archdiocese of Alba Iulia, including the After-school educational centers and the day centers within the project “Social inclusion and improvement of living conditions for Roma and other vulnerable groups in the counties Mures, Cluj, Bihor, Alba, Covasna, Salaj and Harghita”, participated at this Dance of Joy.
The event was organized by the Alba Iulia Orthodox Philanthropy Association, a partner in the aforementioned project.
