VISIT TO OUR PARTNERS, PEOPLE IN PERIL, WITHIN THE IMMERSED PROJECT

Last week, a delegation of HEKS/EPER Romania carried out a project visit in Bratislava, Slovakia, hosted by our partners People in Peril, within the IMMERSED project.

The visit brought together partners, experts, and stakeholders in a shared space for dialogue, reflection, and exchange on the integration of people displaced from Ukraine. As part of the agenda, participants attended the project’s final conference, where key results, tools, and lessons learned from implementation were presented, alongside contributions from institutional and international actors.

The programme also included interactive working sessions focused on experience exchange, where participants explored current challenges and solutions in areas such as employment, protection, and mental well-being. These discussions highlighted both common barriers—such as language and legal constraints—and the need for flexible, context-based approaches adapted to local realities.

Beyond the formal sessions, the visit offered a valuable opportunity to strengthen partnerships, exchange perspectives, and align efforts for the final phase of the project.
