    The COMUNICATION OFFICER is the main point of contact for communication for HEKS/EPER Romania Office, HQ and external communication. This person will be in regular contact with the focal point on Communication HQ level to ensure procedures are done according to HEKS/EPER guidelines.

    Duration: 12 months with possibility to prolong

    Main Responsibilities:

    Communication

    • Proof-read for the received materials and post relevant updates on Heks/Eper Romania website and on other communication channels.
    • Create social media posts for all relevant channels e.g.
      • Human Stories
      • Short Interview with staff
      • Short Videos during field visits
      • Relevant reposts and news to follow-up
    • Follow-up on
      • specific requests related to project reporting
      • communication requests on social media

    Competencies:

    • Previous experience in the NGO field and international environment is an advantage
    • A degree/ experience in communication and marketing would be advantageous.
    • Ability to multitask.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills to oversee several projects at once
    • Excellent computer literacy
    • Excellent phone and email etiquette
    • Strong inclination for customer service 
    • Ability to pay attention to detail
    • Creative thinking 
    • Proper compositional practices
    • Good with numbers and calculations
    • Excellent time management skills

    Additional Requirements:

    • Excellent use of MS Office Suite
    • Clean driving license
    • Advanced level of English
