On 22 January, within the IMMERSED project, the HEKS/EPER Romania team facilitated a peer learning session focused on vocational counselling and employment sustainability for people in vulnerable situations, addressed to frontline counsellors from public institutions.
Together with colleagues from AJOFM CLUJ and the Directorate of Social and Medical Assistance Cluj-Napoca, we created a space for dialogue and shared learning on what effective, people-centred support looks like for individuals facing multiple barriers to accessing and maintaining employment.
The objective of the session was to share good practices and international methodologies developed within the IMMERSED project, with a focus on:
Beyond methodologies and toolkits, the session strengthened collaboration and complementarity between public institutions and civil society, contributing to more coherent and better-adapted interventions for vulnerable groups on the labour market.
