HEKS/EPER Romania delegation at the European Humanitarian Forum – Brussels, 2024

Honoured to participate in the European Humanitarian Forum 2024 in Brussels for the second year in a row!

For three days, from March 18 through March 20, 2024, HEKS/EPER Romania representatives shared thoughts with European leaders, partners and changemakers to discuss pressing global humanitarian challenges. From grassroots empowerment to advocating for marginalized voices, we’re committed to continuing to make a difference.

The 2024 EHF and the Partner Segment served as a source of inspiration and encouragement to all participants. It represented an opportunity to connect and exchange on current humanitarian topics including localization and the operationalization of the triple Nexus, yet also forgotten crises and extreme hardship cases amongst children in crisis. Moreover, the level of respect for the IHL was discussed in the context of the ongoing aid operations in Yemen.

In the spirit of solidarity and humanity, HEKS/EPER Romania is honoured to be among the greatest humanitarian aid operators worldwide, embodying the values of impartiality, neutrality, humanity and independence. HEKS/EPER Romania’s participation in the EHF 2024 reaffirmed its stern ambition to serve those in need and its willingness to extend its programs in hard-to-reach areas.
