Description: The “Competitive farmers in GAL Crisul Negru territory” project supports local farmers by promoting agricultural cooperatives and participation in quality certification schemes. These initiatives contribute to the sustainable development of the agricultural sector and enhance the market integration of local products.

General Objective: To support farmers in GAL Crisul Negru in improving the organization of the agri-food supply chain and increasing competitiveness through cooperation and certification.

Main Activities:

A.1.

Awareness campaign on the benefits of cooperation and quality certification schemes

A.2.

Development of a Guide on agricultural cooperation and certification, distributed to farmers

A.3.

Information sessions and dissemination of the guide among farmer groups

A.4.

Study visits to functional agricultural cooperatives and certified producers

A.5.

Data collection on local agricultural and gastronomic heritage, followed by a workshop to assess and plan further actions based on the gathered insights
