Promoting Social Inclusion Project results on Job Mediation
Meeting Local Authorities in Turda
HEKS/EPER Romania and Arc Consulting representatives attended in June 2017 a Task Force meeting in Turda, at the Local Council. Meeting the Local authorities and the Roma leaders gave us the opportunity to present the “Social inclusion and improvement of living conditions for Roma and other vulnerable groups in the counties Mures, Cluj, Bihor, Alba, Covasna, Salaj and Harghita” project. The good results and methodology for the Job Mediation activities in Cluj County have also been shown to all participants.
Job Mediation activities presented at Cluj Prefecture, 23rd of June 2017
On the 23rd of June, at the Cluj Prefecture, HEKS/EPER Romania and Arc Consulting had the opportunity to present the results of the Job Mediation component of the “Social inclusion and improvement of living conditions for Roma and other vulnerable groups in the counties Mures, Cluj, Bihor, Alba, Covasna, Salaj and Harghita” project. The participants, who included members of the Roma minority in Romanian Parliament and in the Government and other Local and Regional Authorities, appreciated the results. The meeting’s objective was to position representatives from Local and Regional authorities together with Roma representatives at the same table, to discuss the situations in the field, establishing a frame of communication, trying to find solutions.
